What is the meaning behind Vessels?

The idea of Vessels began in Oct 2018, when Isaiah saw the world and realised how emotionally disconnected we were. Vessels talks about earthen vessels which are pottery. Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery"), also known as kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

That’s why we chose Vessels, because we want to help mend brokenness and reconnect the pieces in our lives.

We might all be broken vessels but our cracks tell a unique story.
